A Survival Guide for Rural School Counselors & Solo Practitioners -- The Countdown Is On… π
In just a few days, A Survival Guide for Rural School Counselors and Solo Practitioners will officially be released on Amazon.
This project has been years in the making. It has meant countless early mornings, late nights, revisions, proof copies, and more coffee than I'd care to admit. There were moments when we questioned whether we'd ever reach the finish line, but we kept coming back to one thought:
If this book helps even one school counselor feel more prepared, supported, or understood, it will have been worth it.
Although we wrote this book with rural school counselors and solo practitioners in mind, something unexpected happened during the review process. Early readers kept telling us, "This isn't just for rural school counselors—it's for all school counselors."
That was incredibly encouraging because, while our settings may differ, many of the challenges we face are remarkably similar. We all strive to support students while balancing competing priorities, advocating for equitable opportunities, and navigating the ever-changing demands of our profession.
As we count down to publication, I wanted to give you a sneak peek at what's inside by sharing the Table of Contents.
Now I'd love to hear from you...
Which part immediately caught your attention?
—or—
If you could add one more part or topic to this book, what would it be called?
Leave your answer in the comments! I can't wait to see what resonates with you.
Thank you for following this journey, cheering us on, and supporting this project from the beginning. Your encouragement has meant more than you know.
Stay tuned... we're almost there! π
