I attended both of Franciene’s sessions at NSCA Academy in Lincoln, NE. Her sessions were powerful, well thought out, and useful. She is one of the most intelligent and helpful school counselors I have ever been exposed to in my 20 years in education. I typically do not like conferences and sessions because I read a lot from professional organizations and learn that way, but Franciene’s message should be shared with all new counselors and periodically with experienced counselors. It is probably the most powerful training I’ve had. It has solidified what I have always believed, and all counselors would benefit from her guidance.
