Overall testing went really well today. We tested 75 students in our main room.

A few tips:

  1. Complete the Digital Readiness check with all students at least a week in advance
  2. Print the room directions out with test room code and test code, just in case TDTK crashes. You can go through the test day directions to get all the info as many times as you want to
  3. Remind students the day before to bring chromebooks fully charged
  4. Create a seating chart in Google Sheets and hang it outside of the testing room so they know where their seats are before they enter the room
    1. put a copy of their ticket at their seat so they can easily find their name and get logged in
    2. students should launch Bluebook as soon as they sit down
    3. make sure each student has 3 sheets of paper, a pencil and a real calculator -- these can be placed at their seats before they enter
  5. Have room monitors take attendance as you read the instructions
  6. Once your room is secure, post the room code so they students can get going
    1. the students will watch a silent video once they enter the room code; room monitors can take attendance while students are watching this video
  7. Begin reading directions once everyone gets to the test code screen
  8. It should only take about 15 minutes to get students ready to test
  9. Mark students absent who did not show up
  10. Remind students to stay seated until they are personally dismissed
  11. Your TDTK screen will tell you when students have submitted their test and then they can leave
  12. Submit irregularity reports as they happen so you don’t have to do it after testing. The test coordinator will have to approve them before they are sent to College Board
  13. Be sure to keep their tickets and scratch paper, they are not allowed to remove these items at the end of the day
  14. We were done before 11 am
Good luck!

  1. If you had any absent students (and if you are not retesting) should you take them out of SSOR (by going into the individual student to delete them) so that you don't get charged for unused testing?
